Instead of a single confrontational gesture, the hand repeats in a radial pattern, turning protest into design: direct, graphic, and immediately legible.
The work connects to Ai’s long-running Study of Perspective approach, where a simple, universal sign challenges authority, tradition, and institutional power. Here, the message is sharpened by the palette: red for urgency and impact, gold for a luminous, almost emblematic finish.
