Description
Lucky Window is a study in pressure, edge, and presence. Bogart builds the composition from two elemental forces—red and yellow—then lets texture do the rest: raised areas, softened corners, and worked passages that catch light differently as you move around the piece.
The central diamond form feels simultaneously architectural and bodily, like an aperture or threshold—something you look into, rather than simply at. Its slightly irregular contour reinforces the hand-made character, keeping the geometry alive and dynamic.
With its modest scale and unmistakable physicality, the work holds its own at close range, rewarding slower viewing. Framed with generous breathing space, it reads as a concentrated statement: bold, tactile, and quietly monumental.
